Experienced & Knowledgeable Family Law Attorney

Milford Family Law Attorney

Caring, Compassionate Representation For People Throughout the Greater Milford Community

When a legal issue affects your family, it is critical to have a caring advocate on your side — someone who supports your goals and works hard to achieve them. I am attorney Lisa M. Alberto. I provide caring, compassionate representation in matters involving family law, including divorce, paternity, child custody and child support, as well as matters of real estate, estate planning, probate and elder law.

Each family law conflict is unique and requires a unique resolution. When possible, I encourage my clients to work things out amicably before trying more aggressive methods. I support resolutions achieved through mediation and collaborative law, which are often more cost-effective and less stressful than litigation. Of course, if this is not possible, I will fight aggressively and zealously to achieve the best possible result.

Work Directly With The Experienced Lawyer You Hired

I am an experienced and knowledgeable family law attorney based in Milford. When you retain me as your lawyer, you work directly with me — not an inexperienced associate or support staff. You gain the benefit of a divorce lawyer who you may contact directly with your questions and concerns.

Since 2005, I have also served as a guardian ad litem in certain family law cases. Guardians ad litem serve as fact finders in child custody cases, investigating and determining the best interests of the children and communicating the findings and analysis to the court.
